3 Overknee styles

I recently bought overknee boots, which I automatically fell in love with. You can wear them many different ways, which is what I am going to show you today: 3 simple ways you can style overknee boots with!

Look #1 – Classy

This one is more chique and elegant. You just need a nice skirt, a black shirt & the boots and you are good to go! I also wore some tights since it’s quite cold & some jewellery.

Here are the details

Boots: Asos (on sale)

Top: H&M (similar) or longsleeve

Skirt: H&M

Look #2 – Comfy

Super comfy & cozy, and in my opinion just perfect for winter. A knitted dress looks really cute with overknee boots, and keeps you warm as well. Again, I wore some thin tights underneath.

Here are the details

Boots: Asos (on sale)

Knitted dress: H&M (similar)

Look #3 – Casual

This style is super easy and casual. For me, this would be perfect for a day at university. Just grab a pair of black jeans & a sweater and you’re done and didn’t have to think too much about it – very convenient for early mornings!

Here are the details

Boots: Asos (on sale)

Sweater: Zara (on sale)

Jeans: Only (also featured here)

Do you own a pair of overknee boots? If so, how do you like to style them? Let me knooow!

I love accessories! They allow you to wear the same clothes, but with different jewellery/scarfs/bags/shoes/etc. your outfit will get a whole new vibe. When I was in New York the past week, I basically wore the same coat every day. However, I used different accessories. Each day, I changed up the scarf, my earrings and my shoes.

In the photos above, you can see one of the variations of my NYC Outfit. In the pictures below, you will find the links to where you can buy the scarf and the earrings. The rest of the outfit is featured in this blog post.

Comfy fall outfit: November

IMG_2327_edited

Big sweaters

Scented candles

Tea

Fuzzy socks

Pumpkin soup

All of these things perfectly describe autumn for me. I have such a deep love for this season, especially for November. The leaves are falling off of the trees, and Christmas time is coming up. (My favourite time of the year to be honest!)

Fall in North America also means two things: Thanksgiving and Black Friday. This past Friday, I experienced my first real Black Friday. Some lines were crazily long (one of my friends waited 50 minutes in line at Sports Check), but I guess it was okay in comparison to other shopping malls.

Today, I want to share three of the things that I have purchased with you: an oversized sweater, a necklace and rings. Everything you need for a cute, but comfy fall outfit!

Rings: H&M (Size XS/S)

Summer Nights at the Lake

LRM_EXPORT_20170826_002552-2-3

Today I want to show you how I paired one of my favourite dresses this past weekend. I wore it with rose bobble-earrings which matches the colours of the dress, but also adds a lush touch to the look. The jewellery I wore was gold, just like the details on the black purse. You can get a closer look at the bag in my other outfit post. For shoes, I chose simple black sandals.

I think the outfit is perfect for a night out in a fancy restaurant or (rooftop) bar with family or friends. I wore it to dinner at Mole West, a restaurant at Lake Neusiedl.

Here are the details of the pieces I wore:

Dress: Zara

Earrings: Zara

Necklace: H&M (similar one)

Bag: Vero Moda (similar)

Sandals: Graceland

By the way, tomorrow I will move to Halifax, Canada, to study abroad. I am super excited, but still can’t really believe that I am going to live there for 4 whole months! So, the next blog post I am going to share on this website is going to be from Canada and probably also about my first few days there! (This feels so unreal to write haha)

Until next time, Christine

Summer Day in Hamburg

PicsArt_08-17-12.01.55

Todays post is dedicated to one of my favourite outfits this past summer. Since I love wearing black dresses, I fell in love with this one – especially because it’s also fit for summer. I paired it with a light bomber jacket which was perfect for a summer day in Hamburg, as it can still get pretty windy there. The bag has golden details which matched the jewellery on my hands. For shoes, I chose sneakers – simple but great for city trips since you’ll probably walk around a lot.

You can find the details here:

Jacket: Pimkie (similar one)

Dress: Asos

Bag: Vero Moda (similar)

Shoes: Converse

Jewellery: New One

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset
